苺掲示板を久しぶりに見ていたら、池田信夫氏のブログの内容をクルーグマンやバーナンキに知らせたらどうか、という会話を見掛けた。
実は少し前（12/21）に、クルーグマンブログのこのエントリに、小生は以下のようなコメントを投稿した（引用元はこちら）。
"Dr. Krugman's argument in his paper 'It's Baaack!' lead to BOJ's unusual monetary easing, which contributed to the bubble in the US by way of Yen carry trade. Now the US is in the same situation (as Japan in 90's), but Dr. Krugman does not recommend Inflation Target this time. Instead, he recommends fiscal policy, which he once denounced as 'desperate policy.' This isn't the first time when his argument was both opportunistic and inconsistent, but as a scholar, he should recognize that his previous proposal was wrong, and apologize for the considerable damage which it caused to US and Japanese economy."
This is what Japanese economist-blogger Nobuo Ikeda wrote in his blog (in Japanese) about a month ago. His blog boasts 2 million PV per month.
…が、あっさり没になった。
原因は、小生の英訳に問題があった（個人的には以前採用されたコメントと英語のレベルはさほど変わらないつもりだが）、もしくは内容に問題があった（確かにFAQに個人攻撃等はお断りの旨の記述があるが、一方でこれやこれなどクルーグマンを罵るコメントも結構採用されている）、という可能性も否定できないが、他人の引用コメントは基本的にＮＧということなのだろうか…？
